1. Sheep gut: It is made from the healthy animal sheep and goat intestines and contains collagen components. Therefore, it is not necessary to remove the thread after suturing. Medical gut line: common gut line and chrome gut line, both can be absorbed. The length of time required for absorption depends on the thickness of the gut and the condition of the tissue. It is generally absorbed for 6 to 20 days, but the individual differences affect the absorption process or even absorption. (1) Ordinary gut: an easily absorbable suture made from the submucosal tissue of the gut or bovine intestine. Absorption is fast, but the tissue responds slightly to the gut. It is often used to heal faster blood vessels or subcutaneous tissue to ligature blood vessels and suture infected wounds. It is commonly used in mucosal layers such as the uterus and bladder.
(2) Chrome gut: This gut is made by chromic acid treatment, which can slow the tissue absorption rate, and it causes less inflammation than ordinary gut. Generally used for gynecological and urinary surgery, it is a suture often used in kidney and ureteral surgery, because the silk will promote the formation of stones. Soak in salt water during use, straighten after softening, in order to facilitate the operation.
2, chemical synthesis line (PGA, PGLA, PLA): a polymer linear material made by modern chemical technology, through the process of drawing, coating and other processes, generally absorbed within 60-90 days, absorption stability. If it is the cause of the production process, there are other non-degradable chemical components, the absorption is not complete.
3, pure natural collagen suture: taken from the special animal raccoon tendon, high natural collagen content, the production process without the participation of chemical components, has the characteristics of collagen; for the current true fourth Generation of sutures. It has complete absorption, high tensile strength, good biocompatibility, and promotes cell growth. According to the thickness of the line body, it is generally absorbed for 8-15 days, and the absorption is stable and reliable, and there is no obvious individual difference.
